VoIP Phone Plans Coming September 2026

We offer VoIP telephone plans for both business and residential.  Our business plan is $15 + $0.009/minute for incoming calls per month and the residential is for $10 + $0.009/minute for incoming calls per month.  There is a maximum limit of 3500 inbound call minutes per month; outbound calls have no limit.  For example: you want a residential plan and about 600 inbound minutes/month.  That would cost you $10 + $5.40 (600 * $0.009) = $15.40.  If a customer has insufficient funds in their account for inbound calls, they can deposit more money into their account to get more minutes.  Note: there is an initial setup fee of $10 for business and residential plans.  Payments must be deposited into your account before usage.  You can even have your current telephone number ported/transferred to this VoIP service.  We can also provide features such as call forwarding and voicemail.  If you would like to signup, please click on the button below and fill out the form.  ACOMP Technology will contact you ASAP to proceed with getting you set up.  Any questions, please reach out by email or telephone.

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a technology that lets you make and receive phone calls using a broadband internet connection instead of traditional, physical analog copper landlines.

 

How It Works

Instead of transmitting sound over an outdated copper network, VoIP converts your voice into digital data packets. These packets travel instantly over the internet and are reassembled as clear audio on the receiver's end. 

 

Common Uses & Devices

You might already be using VoIP daily without thinking about it. Common implementations include: 

  • Mobile Apps: Calling or messaging on apps like FaceTime, or Skype.

  • Business Software: Cloud-based communications like Microsoft Teams or Zoom Phone.

  • VoIP Desk Phones: Physical office phones that plug into or connect wirelessly to your internet router rather than a wall jack.

9-1-1 Information

 

This VoIP service supports Enhanced 911 (E911) across the US and Canada, automatically routing calls and transmitting your registered address. Enabling E911 costs a one-time activation fee of approximately $1.50 and $1.50/month per DID. The provider also mandates 911 connectivity even without E911 configured, but applying unregistered attempts incurs a penalty fee.

 

Setting up E911 is action-oriented and can be handled directly through your customer portal:

  • Go to DID Numbers >> Emergency Services.

  • Click the ENABLED or Configure button for your specific number.

  • Fill out the form with your exact physical address.

  • Agree to terms and click Validate. 

 

Important Limitations:

  • Power/Internet Dependencies: VoIP emergency services rely on active internet and power. If your connection drops, 911 will be inoperable.

  • Unconfigured Penalty: If you call 911 without active E911 on your number, a penalty fee can apply.

  • Nomadic Usage: If you move your phone to a new physical location, you must update your address in the portal so emergency responders are sent to the correct place.

 

Unverified Emergency Calls (E911)

911 calls will connect from any number within the U.S. or Canada, even if E911 service isn’t configured.

This ensures that you can reach emergency services in critical situations, no matter your setup.

Please note that an $75 fee applies per 911 call attempts if E911 is not active on your number.  ACOMP Technology strongly recommends enabling E911 to avoid this fee and ensure your location is automatically shared with emergency responders.
